A successful remodeling project starts with a solid foundation of style, design, and architecture. It begins with the end in mind. All Gentry home remodel projects begin with an in-person meeting with John or Brian, the Gentry owners. They will help to define the scope of your project, a high-level budget range, and timeline, so you’ll know what to expect.

Next you’ll meet our style and décor, and design-architectural experts that will help you develop your inspiration and bring it to life through style boards, 3D renderings, and architectural drawings.

One of the early challenges in remodeling is making decisions related to style, color, and finish selections. Gentry’s design and style experts will collaborate with you through the myriad selections to ensure the result matches your inspiration

Project Timeline

Project timelines for a new Basement remodel are entirely dependent upon the scope of work. Factors such as major structural changes, finish selections, architectural requirements, and product availability can affect timelines. An accurate timeline will be communicated once the full scope of your project is understood.

Our goal is to minimize any downtime in which your project sits idle. For this reason, we make every effort to schedule production realistically with allowances for the occasional change order or unforeseen challenge. Our Project Managers will provide frequent and transparent communication every step of the way.

Budget

There are many factors that make up the cost of a home renovation—including room size, level of detail, style selections, and how big the project is. This can make establishing a renovation budget challenging.

Our estimating and design teams will take you through an initial discovery process to provide a starting budget range early in the process. Remodeling Magazine’s Cost vs Value Report is a helpful reference for establishing budget expectations based on current data in Central Ohio.
